Columbia Customs is a small family-owned business focused on helping our clients make their subterranean spaces better suited to their lifestyles. Our shop is located outside of Columbia, PA and we proudly serve Lancaster County, PA.
Our outfit consists of the owner, Geoff Gallo, and a small handful of trusted subcontractors. Geoff has worked in the residential remodeling field since 2004 and has completed hundreds of projects for homeowners in Lancaster, PA.

Before starting Columbia Customs, Geoff has worked alongside a number of other local contractors. He’s seen and heard how other contractors can treat clients poorly and has made it a focus to ensure our clients are treated the way everyone deserves to be treated: with honesty, respect and a healthy helping of thorough communication. Some of the ways we differentiate ourselves from other contractors:
- One job at a time – No hopping around. We’re focused on your project with our full effort. You aren’t just a small background filler job to us.
- Daily Updates – Every day you’ll get a progress update of what was completed and expectations for the upcoming days.
- Accurate estimates – We average total unforeseen change orders of less than 1% of contracted amount. We don’t nickel and dime our clients with lots of extras to pad sales.
- Zero pressure sales – We can’t stand high pressure sales tactics and can’t fathom treating our clients that way. We are here to help you build the most with your budget, not see how many extras we can slap on.
- Budget conscious consultations – We understand that home improvement projects are a major expense and want to help you plan your build to best use your hard earned dollars. During the planning stages, we are happy to break down each of your desired build features and help guide you to the design that does the most on your budget.
